Berserker

Berserkers are usually Scandinavian warriors who would belong to bear cults. They worshipped the bear as a sacred animal, wearing the pelts of these animals, thought to transform into them during combat. The shape shifting aspect is called 'hamask' or 'shapestrong'. When in this state they would carry a weapon and a shield, and gnaw at their shield's edge. Legend has it they would be impervious to weapon damage and fire damage, as well as increased strength and resilience.
