Beastmen are humanoid creatures that combine human and animal features. Four types have been have been reported so far. The first are a mix of human and goat. They have small to large goat horns, a face similar to a goat, shaggy fur on their heads extending down to their shoulders, and from the knee down they have the lower legs of goats. The second are a mix of human and canine. They hare usually quite brutish in build and have a dog-like head with sharp teeth. Fine fur covers their heads. They have claws growing out of their fingers and toes instead of nails. The third are a mix of bull and human. They are sometimes mistaken of minotaur. They have a hairy bulls head with horns and their lower legs are like that of bulls legs. The fourth and final are a mix of human and bird. They have a birds head with multicoloured feathers on it's head in place of hair, with smaller softer hair on the rest of the body. Their legs from the knee down are like a bird's with claws in place of feet.   They are very aggressive and violently attack anyone who comes too close to them. They will mount raids on other humanoid settlements especially when their own tribe becomes too large to accommodate feeding members of their society. The largest and/or strongest will lead the tribe, especially when raiding. Most of their settlements are made up of one kind of beastman, though a few of the largest will have different members sticking to their own part of the settlement. They all can use tools, though have a tendency of being more primitive in origin. A rare few will have magical abilities, a rarer still of these will be shamans who wield divine abilities and magic.   Beastment practice blood magic, and usually offer a blood sacrifice at full moons. Who or what this sacrifice is depends on whether they have captives or livestock at hand. If neither its usually the weakest of their kin. They follow a pantheon of evil deities and demons, with four distant gods who the beastment profess created them. Rarely one or more will show some type of strange mutation such as tentacles in place of limbs, or small wings or other bizarre features.   They can sometimes be found serving in armies led by evil sorcerers or warlords of other species, if they are strong-willed enough.

Suggested Environments

Beastmen are commonly found in areas & regions that are uninhabited by other humanoids. They are commonly found in mountain ranges, forests, abandoned towns & villages, desolate wastelands, and the like.
