Description

Skynd is a hill troll that lives in the wilds around the village of Englerup. Brighter than most trolls, he looks as if he has a bit of human blood in him. Indeed, he has learned to speak Old Nord, and is an excellent scryer. The only problem, is when he uses his scrying he can only see into the far past, and far future, and is only shown the worse & most despicable acts carried out by others. Fore a fee he will try to use this ability to see what he can. Skynd is not above capturing young women from the surrounding region to act as companions, and will return them if they are married & politely asked. Also, the woman who is returned cannot be hurried in any way or else she will vanish forever into his companionship.   This is because his name derives from Skynde, meaning "to hurry". This has happened on one occasion when an un-named man was returning from Ringsled, and already lost three wives in a row to Skynd. He seen the wives, and begged Skynd to let his favourite, called Kristen, to let her return with him. Skynd let her return and warned the man not to hurry her. Unfortunately, when at home a while later, she was taking her time up in the loft of the house and he shouted out "Skynd dig Kristen" (hurry up, Kristen), of which she promptly disappeared, returning to Skynd. The hill Skynd is purportedly living at is called Kristen's Bjerg, and Skynd is also referred to as one of the underground people (or in the Nordic language; Underjordiske).

Keen Smell. Skynd has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.   Regeneration. Skynd regains 10 hit points at the start of his turn. If he takes acid or fire damage, this trait doesn't function at the start of his next turn. He dies only if he starts his turn with 0 hit points and doesn't regenerate.   Scryer. If pressed, Skynd can look into either the far past or far future. He makes a Wisdom (Perception) check without his Keen Smell bonus. This allows him to see one horrific scene as if he is there. It can be anything from a murder, to all-out war, the effects of a pandemic, or any number of terrible scenes.

Multiattack. Skynd makes three attacks; one with his bite and two with his claws.   Bite. Melee Weapon Attack +7 to hit, reach 5 ft, one target. Hit 7 1d6+4 Piercing damage   Claw. Melee Weapon Attack +7 to hit, reach 5 ft, one target. Hit 11 2d6+4 slashing damage.
