As part of a secret plan on Barker’s part, the purpose of which was only clear to him, he moved his tavern to Myrtle’s Beach a few days before the annual regatta.

With Virgil’s help Barker moved his tavern from Tethys Town, on Calypso, to Myrtle’s Beach, on Prometheus. They disassembled the tavern, moved it on the spaceship Procrustes, and assembled it in the new place.
