Nephele

Nephele is a reddish gas giant in a remote star system in The Trident Coalition. The system has no native population but is, in a sense, inhabited as the notorious @Wutiff prison is located on Nephele's moon @Ixion.
Due to the presence of the prison, the system is designated as Restricted and any civilian ships are treated with suspicion as the assumption is that their only reason to be there is to take part in a prison break by being in range with a Cloning Pod Unit so a prisoner who dies on Ixion and has his DNA in the pod on the ship will have his memories transferred to the new body and thus be free as Coalition Law prohibits incarceration of a clone for crimes committed by a previous body. As the justice system and scientists have deemed that it's just memories and not consciousness that are transferred during cloning, it means that the previous person dies. The pod brother that receives the memories is a copy that just has the memories of the previous person who looks and behaves in a similar fashion but ultimately isn't the person. The new person, the pod brother, can only be tried and sentenced for crimes that they commit, not any of those of their donor/pod brother.
