Madrizar

Madrizar is a colony world of the Shi'ar Empire, primarily used for the mining of cobalt.

The planet had no native sapients, but was formerly home to a large colony of Shi'ar. However, this colony was wiped out by The Brood, who invaded the planet in 2000.

The Brood colony was destroyed by Carol Danvers in 2002, and a small number of Shi'ar miners have returned to the planet, although the population remains less than a 10th of what it was pre-Brood.
