Troll
The native denizens of the Troll Realm.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Trolls have two solid black eyes and long downward tilted ears. They have large noses similar to an elephant seal, and dense water-proof fur covers their backs. They also have very large and long forearms with short webbing between their fingers, large webbed feet, seal-like tails, and small tusks.
Genetics and Reproduction
Trolls reproduce sexually, and pregnancy usually lasts around one year.
Besides other trolls, they can reproduce with beastkin and demons.

Ecology and Habitats
As the Troll Realm is composed mainly of oceans with very small rocky islands, trolls have developed semi-aquatic tendencies. While they build their homes on land, they spend a great deal of their time underwater - as such, they have an incredible lung capacity and can withstand fairly high pressure.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Omnivorous - main source of food is kelp and seaweed, though they often forage for other edible plants and animals. Trolls are adapt hunters, much faster underwater than they are on land.
Additional Information
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Trolls have incredible eyesight.
Civilization and Culture
History
Trolls have never formed traditional kingdoms, as their numbers tend to be small. Rather, they live in extended family groups called Rookeries. Since they range far distances while foraging and exploring, members of differing Rookeries run into each other fairly frequently despite living remotely. The five biggest Rookeries often compete with each other for resources and territory, with most of the smaller Rookeries aligning with one of the five.
