Seven False Demon Kings
The seven demon kings which left the Demon Realm rather than be part of the United Demon Realm under the first Ascended Demon King Lavven.
Structure
While not truly one united force, the seven kings did agree to not interfere with each other - as they all believed Lavven had cheated in asking for greater power from the gods, and would not have been able to defeat them all without that power. It is more accurate to think of them as seven different kingdoms with a non-aggression pact, with some working more closely with each other than others.
Culture
Like many demons of the time, the Seven False Kings believed that might makes right - unless you're Lavven, then you're a cheat.

History
While Demon King Lavven was working to unite the Demon Realm, believing it would lead to great advancements for demonity on the whole, there were many upset at the idea of losing their hard-won seats of power. While most remained to fight Lavven as any other opponent, seven kings of time saw they would be unable to overcome the Ascended King and chose instead to invade the Human Realm to establish new kingdoms.
While they did not make this plan together, they were soon aware of each others' presence in the Human Realm. Through shared indignation, they all agreed not to interfere with each others' efforts at establishing new kingdoms - at least, not for the first five hundred years. Many other lordi flocked to their courts, finding the idea of a united Demon Realm equally unappealing.

Disbandment
Three kings were brought back to the Demon Realm by Lavven - three more were defeated by humans in various ways, and the last fled to the Elven Realm.
