Session 03: CSS Rising Shadow: The truth about Ms. Sycca Kawavi. Report

General Summary

The newly formed interns hired by the Shadow of the Rose corporation as its newest "bounty hunters" have spent about 48 hours on the planet of Blue in the Blue system. There first mission seek out a lady by the name of Ms. Sycca Kawavi. She is a women of interest in the murder of her husband a Junior excutive from the planet of Marduk. The Blue Rose Corporation was hired by another corporation to not only find this woman and bring her back alive but also retrieve important company documentation that was also stolen by this woman. They are also to look for an A-3 Fast Trader that was stolen as well. The 48 hours they have spent on this planet they were able to located the last known location of the CSS Rising Shadow from a week signal picked up from a friend that is a contact of the Shadow of the Rose Corporation. The signal is a island located 13,000 KM SW of the Low Port of Blue. The Interns arrived on a transport ship unannounced on the island of Arcadis which upset the junior executive Walter P Clorox. This island the interns learn is a secret location for the Umbrella Corporation which is harvesting a green plant that somehow thrives on this ice planet. The interns learn that the plant is harvest in a warm pocket deep in the core of a frozen planet. The bubble that protects the mine is how people survive. The interns also learn that bubble has lost power before resulting in the deaths of several employees. To combat this the corporation put a low security prison on the island where prisoners were smuggled to the island unknow to the government of the planet of Blue. These prisoners were used by the corporation to mine the plant known as Cat Nip and if they died no big deal that's the price you pay for breaking the law of the Reach. The Interns uncovered a sting operation ran by at least three members of the securtiy team in charge of the prisoners on the island. Ms. Kawavi was on this island under the name of Julia. The captain of the security team Dominik Jankovič was running an operation behind the back of Walter Clorox. Walter gave the interns the authority to find this woman and get of his island. He wanted this done before Vitruvius Galen smart device goes off which would shut down the bubble and do unrepairable damage to his operation and kill who know how many people before he could get the bubble up again. Walter was also informed that Lunk Thunderchin was coming to the island for unknown reasons.
With this authority the interns were able to locate Ms Kawavi. Walter also gave the order to move the bubble on to landing pad 5 to start the process of unthawing Rising Shadow which was going to take about 20 plus hours to do. This upset captain Jankovic who tried in vain to stop Walter from doing this claiming that there was virus on the ship and that he was risking the lives of everyone on the island. The interns then split up those who went to rescue Ms. Kawavi and those that went to the ship and try and get her running. The engineers Uz-Khoun, Oswald, and security officer Ronan went to the ship while Vitruvius, Ferus, and Rudolf went looking for Ms. Kawavi at the prison. Meanwhile Birdlerher showed up to the island with proper paperwork and documentation that 781642 CSS Rising Shadow was indeed his property now and that he was here to claim it. This further upset Captain Jankovic even further. Uz-Khoun and Oswald were able to get power to the ship giving it heat, life-support systems, and lights running. Oswald accessed the Library leaning that Captain Jankovic stole this ship, flew it here from Marduk and killed the husband of Ms. Kawavi. Ronan found evidence of drugs, and mistreatment of the women in one of the cabins. Meanwhile Vitruvius, Ferus, and Rudolf located the heavily sedated Ms. Kawavi and was able to smuggle her to the Rising Shadow with the help of one of the guards by the name of Viktória Čudová. Viktoria along with several other security team members have been suspecting foul play for a while. The three interns were able to subdue two of the three security officers as well only leaving the captain to deal with. With access to the rising shadow the interns have also gained the upper hand because of the weapons in the ships locker. Now the interns need to wait for the ship to finish thawing out and need to capture the captain so that is brought to Justice for his crimes.
