The moons of the Terrene began in synch, but quickly drifted apart. After more than 100 years, they came back together, marking the first convergence. At this time, the influence of the Deities was greatly curtailed in the Terrene - where before they could mold life as they saw fit, afterwards they could only work through channels opened by life in the Terrene.

This is the timeline since the Terrene and the Empyrean were entwined when the Jewel was formed.
Creation
Before the first Convergence
Time began when the Empyrean and the Terrene coalesced into the distinct halves they are. The Facets of the Jewel formed, and the associated Deities began to shape the Terrene. Land masses were formed, flora and fauna were shaped, and sentient beings were created and molded. For 100 years, all of the Deities meddled freely, attempting to create their vision or to distort the vision of their fellows.
