Future in Danger

The mist was filling in,
Throughout the greying town,
Bringing in a sense, of danger.
Early autumn night,
Soldiers passing by,
Looking for the source, of danger.
Darkness closing in,
And did you ever think,
It would return to, Dunhaven?
A dark future’s in the air,
Can feel it everywhere,
Fiends and thieves put us all, in danger.
Taken, from the cutter of the trees,
On a darkened night.
And the golden wire winder lost his way,
To the creeping danger.
Walking down the street,
Recent memories,
A city full of peace, forever.
Now I listen as the screams
Drift along the wind,
Shattering the peace, with danger.
Take me, to the magic peaceful moment,
Of a summer night,
Where the children of Dunhaven run and play,
With you and me.
Take me, to the magic peaceful moment,
Of a summer night,
Where the children of Dunhaven dream away,
With no fear of strangers.
The creeping danger comes,
To the seer of the stones,
Like a storm wind that will break the window pane,
And peace of mind.
Hide your children away,
Until someone comes to drive it away…
Take me, to the magic peaceful moment,
Of a summer night,
Where the children of Dunhaven run and play,
With you and me.
Take me, to the magic peaceful moment,
Of a summer night,
Where the children of Dunhaven run and play,
With you and me.
