Fhokki Fryskdom
Fhokki Fryskdom is an area that is characterized by the absence of feudalism and serfdom. The Fryskdom is mainly located on the south coast of Lake Jorakk and in the Wolda Woods.
When, around 162 B.K., the Skræling tribes crossed Lake Jorakk and attacked the Ginderlände and Wolda Woods, which were still under Allamaran rule, the Ginderländers, the Eastern Deji and the Fhokki were released from military service on foreign territory in order to be able to defend themselves against the Skræling.
With their victory in the Battle of Eyvindardalr in the year 22 they were able to drive the Skræling back onto Lake Jorakk, although it remained under constant threat. Over the centuries, whilst feudal lords reigned in the rest of The Allamaran Empire and Renária, no aristocratic structures emerged in the Wolda Woods and near Lake Jorakk. This 'freedom' is represented abroad by Redjeven who are elected from among the wealthier farmers or fishers or from elected representatives of the autonomous rural municipalities.
