Entronaut

An entronaut is a person trained by a human dimdive program to command, pilot, or serve as a crew member of a dimcraft. Although generally reserved for professional explorers The Dim, the terms are sometimes applied to anyone who prepares to travel into The Dim. Most entronauts spend all their time preparing for the unknown and studying entropy in all it's forms and never get to the point that they actually travel into the dim.

The Dim has long been thought to be impregnable, perpetual. Karl the Explorer sent thirteen expeditions, one after the other, into the mass at the edge of the world. Most of the crews did not return. Ultimately some did, but had lost their minds.

The last voyage of Flóki Vilgerðarson the Famed Trailblazer was into The Dim. Therefore Flóki was also an entronaut.
