The Hegemony of Vega
The Alliance of Vegan Republics, the short-lived successor to the Vegan Colonial Union, was supplanted by the Hegemony in 2712 in the wake of the Coordinator Selection, when Melidu Kivesk declared himself Hegemon.
The Hegemony was provisionally recognized by the Interstellar Clearinghouse Academy but the Framework submitted was referred back to the Central Task Force for modification. To date, no modifications have been submitted for approval.
The Vegan Hegemony, with Vega as its capital, lies athwart the Th'renn Plot. Vega is directly linked by that plot to Alamak, Al-Sulayni, Duni Maior, and Kelvetio. Deymansinaya and Wrence are one d'rirhen reach and the very wealthy Tind system is a two d'rirhen sail. The Th'renn Plot is what the klavangi call a 't'nirrin' (closed) plot that intersects with itself.
