The Dead Basilisks
The Dead Basilisks are a British rock band, all of whom had The Talent. They got their start at The Grail Club in 1969. Subsequently, they became the most successful classic rock band with the Talent. Their albums include
- Dead Basilisks I
- Dead Basilisks II
- Amusing the Muses
- Arms and the Man
- Live from Glastonbury (Concert Album)
- Abbey Ruins
- Gates of No Return
- Ringwraith
- Parnassus (Concert Album)
Structure
The Dead Basilisks have four members: a lead guitarist, a lead vocalist, a drummer, and a bassist. They also have a crew of technicians and other "roadies."
Assets
The Dead Basilisks' most valuable asset, other than their musical prowess, are their copyrights and name recognition. Their albums are still selling strongly thirty plus years after their inception, and they can easily sell out a stadium if they choose, even with a substitute drummer.
Disbandment
The Dead Basilisks broke up in 1981 after the death of their drummer in a Magio-Supremacist attack. They made a live album, Parnassus, in 1992, with the drummer's daughter taking her father's place.
