Zala

Zala was the black half-dragon specter that served as the guide and keeper of Yssondreneth's Tomb.
Before written record, Zala served as a loyal retainer to the first black dragon, Yssondreneth, becoming one of the first black half-dragons. Following her master's death, Zala bound her spirit to Yssondreneth's body, to protect it and guide others to the Gauntlet of the Black Dragon, a powerful magical artifact made from Yssondreneth herself.
In 1492, Zala guided the Breadwinners through Yssondreneth's Tomb. The adventurers successfully navigated the dungeon's traps, and Mariana Goldfinch received, and was subsequently bound to, the Gauntlet of the Black Dragon.
