Shiarra
High Rider Shiarra
Shiarra is the near-legendary first High Rider of Elturel.
Hundreds of years ago, the spot that would one day become Elturel was controlled by ogres. Legends differ on the origin of the conflict between Shiarra and the Ogre Lord that ruled the land. Some say the ogre had taken Shiarra's son; others claim it was her sword that had been stolen. Whatever the reason, Shiarra raised a banner of lordlings and drove off the ogres. Following the battle, the lordlings swore themselves to serve and follow Shiarra for the rest of their lives, forming the first Riders of Elturel.
Supposedly, the site where Shiarra accepted her followers' loyalty is now the site of Shiarra's Market.
