Astral Elf

Astral elfs are a subspecies of elves native to the Astral Sea. Based out in the Deep Astral, astral elves are sometimes called star elves, in reference to both their starry eyes and their reliance on the energy of stars to power their civilization.
Because of their spacefaring nature, astral elves are uniquely overrepresented in the highest levels of the Imperial Elven Navy.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Astral elves resemble their groundling counterpart save for their eyes, which have black sceleras and a golden pupil which resemble a starry night sky.

Behaviour

Due to their presence in the astral sea, astral elves are the longest lived subspecies of elf, which some individuals measuring their ages in the thousands. Because of this, astral elves generally contain a unique outlook on time and existence, even when compared to other elves.
These feelings towards time can result in feelings of depression for some elves or apathy in others, while others try diligently to find purpose for themselves.
