Emmet Tyfon
Emmet Tyfon, the 10-year-old second son of Lady Brienne Tyfon, bears many of the bookish and introspective characteristics of his father, Silas Shoreson. Unlike his older brother, Emmet has had a more solitary upbringing, having been sent away at the age of five to be fostered by his maternal grandfather, Lord Hallard, at the Beacon. This separation from his immediate family has resulted in limited contact with his parents and siblings, leaving him somewhat detached from the daily life of SteepStone. Emmet's time at the Beacon has shaped him into a quiet, thoughtful boy who is more interested in learning and observation than the politics and power struggles that define his mother's house. Despite his young age, Emmet’s future remains uncertain, as his extended time away may lead to him growing up with values and traits more aligned with the Shoreson side of his family.
