Boros Hysun
Boros Hysun, the estranged brother of Lady Cerenna Hysun, has led a life marked by grief, resentment, and a gradual descent into alcoholism. Once a promising nobleman, Boros's world fell apart after the deaths of his wife, Layanna Thark, and his brother Carlos, which left him bitter and disconnected from his family. Since then, he has retreated from the affairs of House Hysun, choosing to live in a mansion in SteepStone with his two daughters, Maya and Alenna, far from the responsibilities and conflicts of his family’s castle, Goldsky.
Although he maintains a façade of nobility and decorum in public, Boros's struggles with alcohol have consumed him, dulling the pain of his losses and estrangement. His reliance on alcohol has distanced him even further from his sister, Cerenna, and has led to concerns about his ability to step into the role of heir, should he be called upon. Despite this, Boros remains a figure of sympathy and tragedy within the Dawnlands, embodying the burdens of a man who has lost everything and seeks solace in the only escape he knows.
