APPA

The "Artificial Phenomenon Portable Accelerator" is a highly experimental apparatus used to replicate the effect of Phi, theoretically allowing the wearer to partially manipulate space and time. As with all new technology however it's potential is matched only by it's danger, especially if it were to fall into the wrong hands.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The core component of the APPA is the portable particle accelerator, it is attached to a wearable rig and connected with a battery supply. Once activated the accelerator fires high speed particles in opposing directions causing them to collide. The collision creates particles replicating Phi which "intermingles" with the atoms of the wearer allowing them to move through time and space for a duration of time.

Significance

Although still highly experimental and theoretical, the APPA is regarded by those who know of it's existence as the most important and dangerous discovery since the splitting of the atom and the creation of atomic weapons.
