The Still Sphere

Almost a century has passed since a mysterious phenomenon stilled the earth's rotation and both the world and humanity have gone through great adaptations and transformations to survive.   After the chaos of shifting seas, climates and peoples finally settled, a nation emerged with a radically different and immoral view on how to reform the world and restore normality.   It bears the name of World One, it is a power hungry and cold-hearted regime that does what ever is necessary for survival whether it be human experimentation or calculated culling's of populations.   The only semblance of the old world left can be found in a rebel faction known as the Wrighteous who desperately cling onto old notions of freedom, decency and democracy despite the cruel world they now live in continuing to slide these ideas closer to obsolescence.   The last embers of true humanity find's itself caught between a government that has seemingly lost it's humanity and the mysterious lingering presence of the phenomenon, which continues to cause a myriad of strange and supernatural events.
