Pearl

The planet Pearl orbits a red dwarf star in Grey Sector XZ11-E7-Psi near the borders of the Galactic Coalition of Worlds. The planet was named "Pearl" in 1021 R.E., after a visit from the GCS Argus.
Pearl is a small mineral rich planet (5000 km diameter) floating in a gigantic asteroid field orbiting a red dwarf star. Whatever other planets may have once been here, they were clearly destroyed millennia ago.
The surface is a methane rich environment. Because of the dangers of methane back-flow to propulsion systems having explosive results, a small space elevator is used to reach the settlement of Hollow Rock.
The small station at the top of the elevator has limited repair capabilities, and several single person tugs for cargo manipulation and EVA repairs.
The population lives in an extensive cavern system beneath the surface of Pearl, in a town called Hollow Rock.
