The Dwarfen Holds

The tumultuous realms of the Dwarfen peoples is a politically confusing place. Thanes oft times claiming ownership of neighboring holds on ridiculous grounds leads to messy borders. Despite this, these disputes are seldom physical but if beards butt a single champion from each Thane's personal guard is chosen to settle disputes.

The Dwarfen Holds developed along side Rock gnomes leading to a homogenous and prosperous relationship between the two peoples. Having developed alongside Dwarfen cultures rock gnome customs, laws and practices are very similar to their bearded brothers. Some might say exactly the same.

Despite this Rock Gnomes have complete autonomy and freedom within Dwarfen Holds, this is mostly due to the fact that Rock Gnomes follow the exact same laws and customs as Dwarfs to the letter but with "Rock Gnome" in place of "Dwarf".

"Herein under the safety of the mountain all Dwarfs shall follow the laws of hospitality, trade and uphold honor and integrity as long as breath passes their lips"

Together Rock Gnomes and Dwarfs have constructed many wonders across the land with the Map of the Dwarfen Holds being the greatest feat of their combined efforts.
