With wildly varying quality of maps some update almost instantaneously while other painstakingly etch in border changes over days leaving less wealthy Dwarfs in the dark on the petty squabbles of Thanes. Those embroiled in Dwarfen Politics and trade usually spend a years wages on a well crafted tablet.
