Silk Touch

Background:
Claudette DeLambre is the elder daughter of Veronique DeLambre and has always been her mother’s favorite. Raised in a household steeped in villainy, Claudette has grown into a spoiled, vain, and deeply manipulative young woman who delights in making others miserable—particularly her stepsister Ella.
From a young age, Claudette exhibited a natural talent for manipulation and social control, using her beauty and charm to get whatever she desired. Her cruelty toward Ella stems from a deep-rooted jealousy, as she sees Ella as a potential threat to her own social standing. She has made it her mission to ensure Ella’s life is filled with humiliation, both at home and school, where she often publicly mocks and belittles her.
Claudette has inherited her mother’s psionic abilities but is still learning how to fully control them. She attends the Secret School for Superior Students, where she is being groomed to follow in her mother’s footsteps within the Psionic Syndicate. Her particular focus is on developing her empathic abilities, which have taken on a dark, manipulative edge. Like her mother, Claudette desires power, wealth, and status, and she views people as tools to achieve her goals.
She was especially fixated on winning the affection of Charles Beauregard, seeing him as a perfect opportunity to secure her place in high society. However, after losing him to Ella, Claudette’s jealousy turned into rage, and she vowed to outshine her stepsister at any cost.
  Personality:
Claudette is vain, shallow, and obsessed with appearances and social status. She has little empathy for others beyond her ability to manipulate their emotions and views people as pawns to be used in her quest for power. She craves the admiration and envy of others, and her cruelty toward Ella stems from an overwhelming desire to prove herself as superior in every way.
Impatient and impulsive, Claudette often lacks the careful planning of her mother, preferring to rely on her charm and emotional manipulation to get what she wants. However, she is ambitious, and her hunger for wealth and status drives her to constantly seek ways to elevate herself, even if it means stepping over others—especially her stepsister.
Despite her arrogance, Claudette harbors deep insecurities, particularly about living up to her mother’s expectations and being outshone by Ella. Her ambition often blinds her to the consequences of her actions, leaving her vulnerable to her own manipulations.
