Miss Aftershock

Background:
Jennifer Irons’ life was engineered from the start. Born into Project Spartoi, a top-secret government program aimed at creating the perfect superhuman, Jennifer was not an ordinary child. Her parents, Colonel William Irons and Dr. Olivia Irons, both instrumental in reviving the controversial project, made the decision to offer their own daughter as the ultimate test subject. Before her birth, Jennifer’s DNA was spliced with genetic material from several deceased heroes and villains, giving her enhanced abilities far beyond those of regular humans.
Jennifer grew up in the cold, sterile environment of a government facility, constantly subjected to experiments, tests, and training. Her childhood was shaped by isolation, with her parents treating her more like a scientific achievement than a daughter. As she grew older, her powers began to manifest—shockwaves that could knock down walls, super strength, and near-invulnerability. Along with these abilities came the shocking realization that her DNA was not entirely her own. She was an amalgamation of many, a living product of a project that had long since crossed ethical boundaries.
At 17, Jennifer’s identity crisis boiled over, and she staged a daring escape from the facility. Using her shockwave powers, she broke free and fled to Seattle, where she began a new life. Immersing herself in the city’s grunge music scene, she found solace in its raw emotion and defiance. Taking the name Jennifer Irons, she found work as a barista, adopting a seemingly normal life while hiding her true identity.
However, Jennifer’s peaceful existence was shattered when her friend Cedar was taken hostage by a supervillain. Forced to reveal her powers, Jennifer embraced her alter-ego, Miss Aftershock, to save him. This act marked the beginning of her career as a reluctant hero. Though she had escaped the clutches of Project Spartoi, Jennifer knew they would one day come looking for her. But now, she vowed to use her powers on her terms, fighting for justice and protecting her new life in Seattle.
  Personality:
Jennifer Irons is fiercely independent, confident, and unapologetically herself. Standing tall and proud of her curvy, powerful frame, she embraces her identity as a "big beautiful queen," refusing to conform to society’s narrow standards of beauty. Her love for the grunge music scene is a reflection of her rebellious nature—the raw emotion, defiance, and anti-establishment attitude resonates deeply with her.
Despite the burdens of her engineered origins, Jennifer refuses to be defined by her past or her creators. She is resourceful and quick to act when those she cares about are in danger, valuing her personal freedom above all else. Her experiences with Project Spartoi have made her distrustful of authority, and she fiercely resists any attempts to control her. However, Jennifer also has a compassionate side, with a strong sense of justice and loyalty to those she trusts.
She keeps her deeper emotions guarded, a defense mechanism from her years of isolation, but those closest to her—like her friend Cedar—help her stay grounded. Though she knows that her past may one day catch up to her, Jennifer is determined to live life on her terms, balancing her everyday life as a barista with her alter-ego, Miss Aftershock, a hero who will stand against any force that threatens her newfound freedom.
