Lupinal
Background:
Born with Metagene Immunity Deficiency M.I.D, Lupinal’s natural powers to manifest minor lupine traits—claws and fur—caused him excruciating pain. His parents sold him to Project Spartoi, an American super soldier program, where his DNA was gene-spliced with that of extinct Dire Wolves. This began a series of nightmarish experiments blending Extra DNA with supernatural forces, turning Lupinal into an artificial werewolf beyond anything the project could control.
Lupinal was subjected to severe testing, including splicing him lycanthropy from a captured Loup Garou and gene augmentation. The agony of these experiments left him mentally scarred, trapped permanently in his hulking, anthropomorphic wolf form. Unlike traditional werewolves, Lupinal cannot revert to human form and is unable to speak, only able to communicate through animalistic growls and howls. His immense strength, speed, and regenerative abilities make him nearly unstoppable, save for his vulnerability to silver and elemental harm.
Apex Primacy tracked Lupinal down in the Alaskan wilderness, where Miss Mandrake subdued him with a powerful cocktail of tranquilizers and wolfsbane. Now, he serves as an enforcer for the group, though his true motivations remain unclear. Whether he remains loyal to the cause, seeks peace from the constant agony, or follows Miss Mandrake for personal reasons, only time will tell.
Personality:
Lupinal’s mind is torn between human consciousness and animalistic rage. The pain of his transformation and loss of humanity weighs heavily on him, driving him into fits of fury and hatred. He is largely guided by instincts, with a constant need to lash out and destroy. Despite this, there are brief moments of lucidity, often when Miss Mandrake is nearby, where he seems to find some peace.
His loyalty to Apex Primacy is questionable—whether he stays because they offer him a release for his suffering or because of his attachment to Miss Mandrake is unknown. Miss Mandrake has a unique bond with Lupinal, often soothing his fury, and rumors suggest she may hold his heart in a way no one else can. His love for her, if it exists, is a deeply animalistic and primal connection, and she alone can calm his raging mind.
