Jack O'Lantern

Background:
Jack O'Leary was born in 1816 in County Kerry, Ireland, a mischievous soul known for his pranks, trickery, and an infamous stinginess with his coin. His love for mischief and conning people led him to a life of trickery, gambling, and cheating, earning him various nicknames like "Stingy Jack" and "Flaky Jack." After making deals with angels, devils, and demons, Jack ultimately cheated both heaven and hell, leading to a cursed, undead existence.
By 1851, as his body decayed from consumption, Jack made a desperate deal with a devil, gaining ten more years of life. When his time ran out, Jack once again outwitted the devil, securing a fate that barred him from both heaven and hell, but at a steep price. He became a rotting, walking corpse, unable to die, until he sought the help of the fey. In the autumn realm of the Sidhe, he was judged by each faerie court, and finally, the Autumn Queen took him in. She transformed him into Jack O'Lantern, the Knight of the Pumpkin Patch, and granted him new life as a fey servant, binding him to the magic of All Hallows' Eve and autumn’s power. Now, he exists as a spirit of trickery, fire, and autumnal magic, wandering the world and answering the calls of those who summon him—so long as they offer the right price.
  Personality:
Jack O'Lantern is the embodiment of mischief, a rogue and trickster at heart. He delights in outwitting others and relishes in clever pranks, often seeing the world as a game where only the sharpest minds survive. Despite his playful and charming exterior, Jack has a darker side, shaped by years of tricking devils and being cursed to an undead existence.
Now as a fey spirit, Jack is bound to the magic of autumn, and while he remains as charming and roguish as ever, his loyalty lies with the Autumn Queen. He balances his own interests with his duties, protecting the balance between monsters and men, and he never turns down a good deal—especially when there's whiskey involved.
