The Molten Ocarina

The Molten Ocarina is an ocarina of rock, blackened with veins of red. There is only one ocarina like this in the world. It is an artefact from the Luxor Era, though the creator is unknown.
The Molten Ocarina seems to carry a mysterious power, supposed to be some form of fire magic, making it all the rarer. As it is played, the veins glow with some unknown magical energy, and if the player has intent, even if it's accidental, they can control the earth's flow. The player can summon heat from the Plane of Flame, which melts the rock into lava. These lava lines can be made to erupt through the ground much like a geyser, burying the surroundings in lava. Even after the player stops calling forth the elemental power, the heat remains for a long while, leaving the earth boiling hot and the lava bubbling from the holes. It becomes an inhospitable area to dwell in, sometimes forcing people to vacate whole villages after their fields have become untillable. In the hands of a particularly powerful person, the Molten Ocarina can cause incredible destruction.
Legend has it that a powerful demon created the Molten Ocarina in a bid to overthrow the gods of its realm. This demon used the life energy of many, many fire demons and other beings to imbue the ocarina with power, even using fire elementals in the creation. Supposedly, the demon then, with a few other weapons that it created, challenged the gods. In the battle, they breached the boundaries between several planes, causing devastation to many of them. The ocarina was accidentally dropped into the plane of The Somer Plate. Later, the ocarina would be found by the drow __, who when trying it out made the first lava field .
