Bouncer
Bouncer is Vanessa’s guard Lorehound, though very much a very recent addition to the Realm, considering just how long she’s been here. Eternally overworked, and hating every moment she has to step in to stop some fight or disruption… For better or for worse, depending on who you ask, SOMEONE gave her the idea to have a dog take care of troublemakers for her. Thus, Bouncer was created.
Overview
He is very debatably a dog, but he very much lives up to his name. His figure is titanic, formed by both swirling water and monstrous flesh, standing tens of feet tall, and he’s donned with a flat monstrous face, which fashions a horrifically long jaw with countless fangs, as well as bright eyes of various sizes. If trouble breaks out, those involved will find themselves turned into his newest chew toys. He very much doesn’t kill, and is much more likely to roughen someone up than genuinely tear them apart, but that is very much his own choice. Or Vanessa’s perhaps.
Thanks to being a Lorehound, and technically being above the Overseers, Bouncer responds to no one but The Archivist herself, at least as far as most of the Court knows. This also applies to people he’s fond of, with both Aberrant beast and Aberrant master being incredibly close. Though some people suspect SOMEONE may be an exception to that.
Bouncer is an absolute titan, but even when Vanessa’s working at her desk in a more humanoid size, if bothered, gurgling and unholy growls, as well as his eyes and water-like shape will be spotted in the shadow beneath her desk. His identity is very much obvious, even if physically there should be absolutely no way he fits under a normal-sized desk. Though most only see the monster, due to this it's safe to assume his shape is as fluid as hers. After all, owners resemble their pets.
History
Bouncer was created about four years ago to the dismay of the troublemakers of the Realm.
Abilities
- Bouncer is a monster of raw strength and durability, but also has an incredibly malleable form due to his aquatic nature; being a magical creature and partially made of water.
Relationships
Bouncer is a work-creature to his core, being extremely picky on who he allows to be even pet him.
- Vanessa Yovranna, The Archivist. His owner, he is her guard, literal bouncer, and companion. He heeds her every order, and would also do anything in his power to keep her safe... Or anything for her, truly. And so would her.
- Ghaadlan Hel'tylass. Even though Bouncer very much doesn’t heed orders from Ghaadlan, Vanessa doesn’t send him against him. Not unless she is present, and even then, it's not a fight, but a display of power. The once-General may deserve it, and both Aberrations abhor him, but ultimately, The Archivist doesn’t fight him, or entertain ideas of it. Not even with her guard dog as her Champion.

- Dragon & Tower. On rare ocassion, they are seen playing together.
Other Information
- Even though Bouncer has existed for barely any time in The King's Realm, which is filled with millenial, centennial, etc, creatures; his presence has rocked the whole place already, and Vanessa's own day to day life as well. Though very much for the better.
