Tsuki Yomi

Gameplay: Followers of The Old Gods have the most diverse set of beliefs and gods on the Sword Coast. As such all religious classes (clerics, paladins, and druids) are open to them. Listed below, in order of importance, are the most important deities in the pantheon, but there are too many to list. You may choose one of them as your character’s deity, or you may design your character’s deity and religion. If you wish to play as a follower of The Old Gods, work with your DM to design your character’s beliefs and the nature of the religion and the god(s) she serves.   A Note to Players: There is a lot of room for players develop their characters' religious beliefs and to expand on the brief summaries of each deity presented below. Players are invited to help expand or ammend what is written below.

Beliefs:

Tsuki Yomi is an extremely powerful yet mysterious deity. Most followers of The Old Ways regard her with a sense of wonder and fear. She is the holder of sacred truths, secret knowledge, and ancient power that most will never be able to comprehend. But, for those who are willing to devote themselves to her, she will teach them all. Her followers are often seen as being both tremendously wise and a little mad.   Priests and priestesses of Tsuki Yomi are devoted to knowledge and wisdom and the power that comes with them. But, they do not share what they learn lightly. They will gather in small covens, and carefully exchange information to those that they trust. Often, they are tasked with recovering lost texts from the ruins of ancient imperial cities or stealing a powerful artifact from the lair of a sleeping dracholich in order to understand how it works.

Place of worship:

Secret wooded glens over ley lines. Hidden places of power bathed in moon light.
