Siofra Heffernan (a.k.a. Siofra Half-Fae)

If the story of Sanctuary Village and The Shifting Isles has a main character, this teenage girl would be it. Born to a human father and a Fae mother, Siofra has known life in Sanctuary Village since she was born. A girl who takes the term 'Odd-folk' with pride, she is a very opinionated girl. Occasionally this has been a problem when encountering those outside of the realm of the Home-Tree and Sanctuary Village, but the leaders of the village has subtly been managing her path towards rescuing those children abandoned by parents who believe them to be 'Changelings'.  Siofra finds these rescues to be very vindicating and has bonded further with the friends assigned to be fellow rescuers.

Motivation

Siofra is a fierce advocate of her village and ventures at every moment to defend it from those who might discover it. On the other hand, if they have been led to the village by the Isles's magic, then she welcomes them with open arms and a welcoming fervor. She has seen people go from depressed individuals to those who thrive and are proud of themselves, countless times over. She couldn't be prouder of her village, and that motivates everything she does.

Savvies & Ineptitudes

Having lived her entire life in Sanctuary Village, she is a bit naive about the world outside of The Twisting Forest. As well, she has little interest in exploring the outside world, as a villager who could theoretically venture out and explore as an adventurer. Whenever confronted by these facts, she brushes them off. This is worrying to the village elders and her parents, and further actions may be taken to broaden her horizons.
