Known History
Little is known about royal prisoner: Number 5669, her parents were not noteworthy enough to be recorded in the ledgers and her first appearance is at 16 years old, being arrested for minor thievery and attempted robbery. She was sentenced to hard labour and eventually managed to stage a prison riot and stole a ship, escaping to the Shifting Isles.Note: It is of utmost importance that "Tessa Fairwind" is neutralized as soon as possible, as she seems to be the lynchpin holding the council in balance
Personality & Shortcomings
She excells at improvisation and negotiation. However, she is easy to exploit by holding hostages, strategically speaking she is average but has advisors to downplay that.

She has always been quick witted and with sharp reflexes, now honed by the years she spent as a proper pirate. This however, has toned down her opinions on rules. She learned long ago, that they are necessary to regulate the co-existence of different people.
She despises her role as the leader of the pirates council and would give anything to be rid of the responsibility, but is well aware that she is the one best suited for it. She longs for the time when all the troubles are solved and the Council won't need a leader anymore. She truly savours the rare times when she is able to accompany her crew on missions and raids.
Despite all of that, she still remains a truly optimistic person, down to the core. Even if she is tired a lot of the times now.

A complete History of Tessa Fairwind
Born as a quarter-elf she never met her father. Her grandmother was an ocean elf, which gave her an innate connection to the sea. Her rebellious nature quickly led to her running away from home. After getting in some criminal shenanigans she was caught and forced to work in a royal labour camp. She had no real chance to get out of there but quickly managed to make friends with other prisoners, among them Vegeziath Rainstalker, who is the only one that survided the frequent transfers and horrible conditions. Together with two adventurers they escaped from Eagles Rock stealing a ship in the process and, thanks to some previous experience actually survived. After that they rose through the ranks of the pirates thanks to Tessa’s mind for business, diplomacy and violence.Personality
Tessa loves nothing more than the open sea and the thrill of a good battle. Her way of life is the libertarian utopia of the pirate islands. She would do anything to protect their souvereignity, believing that it is best to live with as few laws and rules as is possible.
