Forming the Brigade
The Blue Banner Brigade is a team of elected heroes chosen from the elite around the Isle of Esker. Their primary function is to operate as a sort of back-up team in case the Crimson 8 Heroes fail in their mission to stabalize the Shatterlands. They also function to test and strengthen the Crimson 8 by acting as rivals in a sort of race to prove themselves. In their "downtime," the team offers their hero-services to any who is in need of help.
Though they were initially developed as a rival gang to take over in the quest to save the Shatterlands (due to some nobles worrying about the sanity and/or capability of the motley group known as the Crimson 8), the Blue Banner Brigade has since learned that, despite the occasional issue, those chosen by the world-stone have proven themselves time and time again. Now the BBB has pledged themselves to assist the Crimson 8 in their quest.
Sir Finley - "The Tempered Blade"
Sir Finley (first name - Faline, though she tries to keep that hidden from most), is the de facto leader of the Blue Banner Brigade. She hails from Avandil, where she served loyally in the forces. She is level-headed, tactical, and serious to a fault.
Summer - "The Slayer"
Summer is a Cleric of Torm. He is steadfast in his pursuit to hunt down and slay any evil, from vampires to ghouls to beyond. He believes the best offense against the forces of evil is a strong body tempered with light. There is nothing that brings him greater peace than tearing evil asunder by splitting it in two with his enormous greatsword. With a weapon in either hand, Summer has no room for a shield, and that summarizes well his approach to battle.
Biggs - "The Earthly Druid"
Biggs is a big druid with a big heart. He is calm, peaceful, and slow to provoke. He is balanced with the earth, not too quick to anger or vengeance, but not as rooted as a mighty Fairy Oak. He is a well mannered and well spoken hero of the wild and civilization alike.
Nobir - "The Noble Theif"
Orphaned at a young age, Nobir fell in with a group of theives that taught him their way. He rose through the ranks and became their leader, changing their mission to robbing from the rich to give to the poor. Under his leadership, the theives became renown as heroes to the poor, and none were more renown that Nobir himself.
Ulric - "The Golden Wolf"
Also known to many as "The Sea Dog" from his pirating days, Ulric is a noble-born paladin who abandoned his family in search of his brother, Rowan. His journey lead to him abandoning his God, Tyr, to ally himself with Umberlee in order to save his life. Finally, he was taken in by the Blue Banner Brigade, where he is glad to be a force of good once more. He has a pet fox named Enkai, and he is the captain of the flying ship used by the BBB.
Zephyra - "The Wind Princess"
Zephyra is a genasi of wind, and the heir to her father Djinni's power. She takes her role as the Princess of Wind very seriously, knowing the importance of her power in balancing the Shatterlands and binding it together once more. She and her guardian Vayu joined the Blue Banner Brigade to help bring balance to the world once more.
