High Priestess Olara and Master Cleric Relic

Heads of the Golden Union Cathedral, Olara and Relic split the various pantheons to focus on half, each. Olara tends to focus on those deities which are overtly "good" and light. Relic tends to focus on those on the other side of the spectrum, finding beauty in their complexities. Olara trains priests of various deities, while Relic trains clerics in their sacred duties. Paladins find tutelege under both.
Olara and Relic were promoted to leadership in the cathedral at the same time, and lead together for fifteen years before announcing that they were forming a union of their own; they then lead the church as husband and wife and have done so for twenty-one years now.
Relic is a devout religious researcher, prefering objects and texts over the company of people. He takes great pride in those he trains, however, and those who come to trust him as the leader of the cathedral. His position was hard-fought, as he perservered through endless tormenting and bullying in his youth that continues from a few members of society even today. Some are unable to reconcile his race with his spirituality.
Olara rose through the ranks easily, and has always been adored by the people of the island and beyond. When she married Relic, there were whispers of her being forced into it for his sake, but she fiercely denounced such rumors. She is steadfast and nearly-venomous in her protective endeavors for her beloved Relic, often surprising those who do not expect such harsh words to spew from such a delicate woman.
