6: The Basement

General Summary

Dear diary,
WOW what a long day. We got to the basement of the lodge and everything was all wet and smelled like MILDEW! An old guy yelled at us and said he's in love with werwolves ?? ew! He tried to kill us so Kestrel blasted him with a gun she found! yay :)

We couldn't find the old guy's bedroom full of treausre but we did find a jail and you will never guess what was in there...
A giant bug! it was the size of a house! It was probably the queen of all bugs! It was locked up though and we had to get going but I will always wonder how the queen of bugs ended up in the basement jail. Maybe someday I will find a net big enough to catch it.

Anyway Bryton smashed a wall and we snuck into the secret statue room where a bunch of werewolf weirdos were doing something weird with a weird tree lady. We found another jail with Kestrel's papa in it and we broke him out. He was still pretty wolfy though so we told the werewolf guys they had to give us the cure.
Of course they tried to kill us! (RUDE)

Their boss was a big hairy muscle man who did not smell good at all. He turned into a really really big werewolf but we werent scared! (maybe a little). I started the tree lady on fire with the help of my new friend and Bryton chopped all the wolves into wolf chunks.

We fought hard but there were just too many of them. Just when we thought all was lost- Florian burst into the room to save us! (he slept in) Then everything was a big mess of chickens, bears, wolves, and explosions and stuff. AND Bryton's little dog got huge again! How does he do that?

The tree lady bonked me on the head and knocked me out so my sister exploded everyone with her blue fire magic! She turned the super werewolf into pudding. She has saved my life like a hundred times I think. I didn't get to see it but it probably looked like this-

Three of the stinky man's goons got away though. Kestrel's Papa turned back into a human so we locked ourslves in the statue room to get some rest. I'm so tired I can barely keep my eyes open.
