3: Bread for Granny

General Summary

Dear Diary,
Another strange day. First I woke up and remembered that I needed to bring some bread to Granny’s house. I don’t know who Granny is but that’s just what I needed to do. Luckily, all of my friends needed to bring Granny bread, too, so we all went together!
Kestrel got the bread from the bread store and she also brought her new invention- a metal dog! She said he is a “proto type” but I think he is more of a dog type.

Anyway, Bryton’s mom said he had to bring some meat into the forest for an offering or something so we marched down the road heroically. The little black dog who gets big sometimes followed us too. He is not a very brave dog but if he can figure out how to get big again he could probably take over the world.

We met Killian in the woods and he was bringing Granny bread too! He is a jerk and probably wanted to steal our reward. Bryton said Killian forgot the cheese and he totally believed him! What a jerk.
In the dark part of the woods we found a spooky meat rock for the meat to go on and in the bushes next to it I found the coolest bug in the world. It had big horns and every color all at once. I tried to grab it but its friends got mad and tried to kill us!!

I accidentally made it windy and blew the bugs into my sister’s hair (OOPS) Kestrel defeated the bugs using a BOMB (Sirene got exploded but not too much). Also the boys were being eaten by wolves for some reason.
I tried to stop the wolves but I just made everyone sticky and smell good. Sirene and Kestrel and Florian and Bryton scared the wolves away and dropped off the meat to the meat rock and the meat turned to mush (it has been brought to my attention that this is not normal).

Anyway, after that we found Granny’s house and it was very cute and not made of candy but that would have been nice. There was a present for me by her door and it was a whole box of gummy worms! Granny scooped us up and fed us a big feast in her house.

Everything was going well until Granny started turning green. Her whole house wasn’t cute at all- it was actually gross and scary. Also the box of gummy worms was just a box of regular worms!! (I already ate most of them) She said she was going to cook us so I ran away and hid.

Granny called for her uncles who happened to be werewolves! I saw my sister shoot a sparkle beam at one of the werewolves and his whole head exploded and made a big mess. Kestrel distracted the other uncle and he realized he never wanted to be a werewolf at all. He wanted to be a dancer. This uncle left to pursue his dreams I think.

Anyway, Granny was using a lot of evil magic and stuff so Florian turned into a BEAR instead of a chicken. Bear Florian wrecked up the whole place and saved me from the kitchen and I got to ride him into battle! Killian was there too and he saved the other kids who Granny had in her big cage. Killian helped us beat up Granny (maybe he isn’t so bad?).

Bryton used TWO swords and cut Granny right in half BANG WHAM SLICE and she melted into goop. Bryton’s sister Bailey was hurt so he picked her up and carried her all the way home. Granny also had dug a grave in her yard and the real Granny was in there all dead and also there were Echotree roots that were stinky with evil but we couldn’t cut them so we gave up and left.

Other stuff happened too but I can't remember.
I am starting to think something veeeery strange is going on round here. The grown ups said they are going to have a big meeting with no kids allowed. We will have to invite ourselves.
