Fēdr al Cuwtōhw

The Fēdr al Cuwtōhw are the new homelands of the Dānāofari people, being situated on the north-eastern part of the continent of Cadora that was once the home of the Llennarc people. In the year 1028 the lands are divided among 4 kingdoms, the strongest being Cūengfēdr al Cuwtōhw, with the largest population of traditional Dānāofari that make up the majority of the population. Other kingdoms have has more iterations with the native Llennarc to the point that many natives have moved away from their nomadic heritage and have started to be assimilated into the Dānāofari culture. Some aspects of Llennarc culture has also been absorbed such as a mixing of language and warfare tactics, with chariot warfare becoming common place in battles in the south.

Geography

Fēdr al Cuwtōhw are surrounded by mountains, lakes and fortress, making it exceptionally difficult for external powers to invade from the land. Two major mountain ranges stretch across the southern border and meet at a large pass almost exactly due south from Ztuuw Tunaz with flat grasslands leading all the way to the sea. The eastern border is well protected by dense woodland that provides great defense against any attacks from un-civilised Llennarc as they are forced to dismount their chariots when traversing the trees, leaving them vulnerable to Dānāofari heavy infantry.   The northern coasts are covered in wetlands from Tunaz al Thelokh to the capital of Cūengfēdr al Hwujzhīm that has lead to distancing between the kingdoms in the east and west, with very few major trade connections.

Natives

The Llennarc had very few permanent settlements, with only one having survived the migration, all though it is now abandoned, and they had no written language. A few tales of theirs have survived to the present day, mainly based around great kings of old and their old gods, but much of their old heritage has been wiped out or absorbed into the much more prevalent Dānāofari society. However the handful of tribes that haven't been fully subjugated rapidly adapted the Dānāofari writing system and way of government, the tribes who did this would quickly gain an edge over competing tribes and start to expand to form formal kingdoms.

Climate

With an oceanic climate the Fēdr al Cuwtōhw are much more bountiful than their old homelands, but the coasts are often ravaged by massive storms during the start of the winter. There are also no more permanent days and nights due to being at a higher latitude and with calmer winters, seen as a blessing from the gods.
A not too uncommon landscape in Fēdr al Cuwtōhw, with small rivers weaving across the land and forests being a regular sight for locals.
