The Wildmarch
Codex Solvaria: The Wildmarch
Region Type: Highland Frontier – Northern Solvar
Renown: Enduring, proud, and unyielded by time or conquest
“The Wildmarch endures — not because the gods will it, but because no sword, no crown, and no strife has ever broken its spirit.”
The Wildmarch is a land of sky-bound resolve and ancestral depth—a rugged frontier of alpine forests, endless valleys, sacred gates, and storm-worn stone. Here, nature is not tamed, only honored. The wind carries oaths older than kingdoms, and the mountains remember the names of those who kept them.
It is the homeland of House Kha'zek-Marn and the many northern clans, bound not by empire but by blood, memory, and stone-hewn law. Their traditions hold fast against the winds of change, rooted in ancestral pacts, spirit-chosen leaders, and the quiet counsel of The Oathkeepers.
Though connected to the rest of Solvar through The Ashen Plains, the Wildmarch remains isolated by geography and will. Travel is treacherous—winding over shattered roads, haunted ruins, and war-scarred crossings. To the west and south, The Shattershoal Archipelago, a broad delta, and the saltwater expanse of Lake Hanin sever it from The Hallowed Frontier and the ruins of Caer Hanin.
No empire has ever held the Wildmarch for long
No god has ever ruled it outright
And no Scion has ever left its cairn without permission.
