The New Dawn is a reformist faction within House Alowen , led by the charismatic and exiled court-mage Faen Auren Halvek . They call for the end of ancestral stagnation and the rebirth of Solvar through truth, unity, and the reclaiming of suppressed memory even if it burns the roots of tradition.

Born from within the Faen council and splintered after the Mourning Star Rebellion , the New Dawn gathers young mages, disillusioned nobles, and relic-seekers, urging a return to the forgotten principles of the early empire—not the hierarchy of control, but the hope of peace and prosperity.

They believe the old gods have turned their faces away not out of wrath, but shame—and that only by illuminating the lies buried in the Histories can Solvar heal. Critics call them heretics, agitators, or worse: puppets of a deeper, unspoken force.
