Infiltrating Tresendar Manor

The party infiltrate Tresendar Manor via the hidden passage at the foot of the hill atop which sits the gloomy ruin.
The party enters a large cavernous area and begin to hear ominous whispers and visions.
The party explore the eastern basement, finding a shipment of dirty beaver pelts which are cleaned and collected by Curamo using his prestigitation cantrip.
The party continues onto the crypt of the basement, battling a host of skeletons - the dead of the Tresendar family.
The party hears cries of help from behind a sturdy door. GIlber successfully picks the lock and the party accesses the jail. A woman, Mirena Drendar, and her two children are held there. Following threats to stay out, a Redbrand ruffian slits the throat of one of the children as Bjorn does not heed the warning. A quick skirmish ensues and the child is revived by Kumar.
The party headed back to the cavern where they engaged in a skirmish with a host of bugbear warriors posted in the western guardroom. Upon defeating the bugbears Kayden descends into the crevasse where they meet the cause of the whispers and visions - the nothic. The party agrees to feed the nothic 'man-flesh' to avoid a direct conflict. Kayden also sees the dead body of a human male.
The party continue through the western basement where they release a small goblin, droop, from his torment by the bugbears. Droop accompanies the party into the manor.
The party bbattlesanother wing of the Redbrand gang in their common room before assailing Glass Staff's quarters. Glass Staff escaped via a hidden passageway. Before taking chase, the party discovers Glass Staff is a member of the Lord's Alliance - a mage, Ianro Aldbreck, who was sent to govern Phandalin. Instead, he led the Redbrand gang, allied with 'The Black Spider' and his Cragmaw Goblin minions to strangle Phandalin and locate the entrance to 'Wave Echo Cave'.
Papers from the Black Spider's henchman also showed that Gundren had been captured and taken to Cragmaw Castle and sits in the grasp of the bugbear King Grohl.
