In response to the Demon Lords' emergence, the Archangels united and rallied their armies, calling upon the mortal races to stand together against the demonic threat.

For a time, their combined forces managed to hold the line, resulting in a tense deadlock between the Archangels' armies and the demons.

Battles raged across Virtus, with neither side able to gain a decisive advantage.
