Andalus

The continent of Andalus is located in the Central Tripartite of the Shattered Oceans. In the present day it is divided into West and East Andalus by the Rift. The climate of the continent is primarily temperate in the North wth coniferous and deciduous forests, and a mix of temperate and tropical forests and climates in the South. The landscape is littered with rolling hills, valleys, glasslands, and there are large mountain ranges and densely populated forests all over the continent. The coast lines are very diverse but the inland spans tend to incline settlers to create agricultural hamlets that feed the continent and the surrounding islands

Andalus is home to Gnomish technology and where Chronomancy was largely developed. There are a total of 23 islands that sits within its coastlines and territories. This continent and the lands of Central Tripartite in general are home to largest underground caverns, cities, and civilizations in the Shattered Oceans. This is largely due to the presence of leylines, which are mined and used as fuel for gnomish technology, and the superstition that living within close proximity of them heightens magical powers and abilities. When the Chronokeepers Cult was active, their headquarters were located on Andalus. It is common to find hideouts and ruins from periods when Chronomancers inhabited them.

The Rift, which formed at the end of the Era of Reckoning, cuts through the entirety of Andalus. There are two bridges built across it, one in the North and on the South. The Northern Bridge is more notoriously unreliable. The water current runs South, down into the Sea of Gholurai, and forms a river that falls down into several waterfalls until it empties out into the Sea.
