Istus stands apart from the world and even from other gods and goddesses, aloof as she goes about the lonely task of weaving the future into the present. She appears as either an old crone in gray robes, or a young, vibrant woman, just beyond girlhood, with long, black braided locks. Her clerics are mostly female and wear long, gray robes or cloaks.
