Cult of Mithras

Once upon a time, the roman legionaires brought back a new type of religion that became very popular for about three centuries. The worship of Mithras is believed to be centered around a mortal mage that disappeared without a trace at the end of 4th century CE. There are hundreds of archaeological sites that have yielded evidence of the cult gathering in underground temples, performing magical rituals and having a complicated system of different tiers and members.   The true teachings of the magical abilites seems to be completely lost.
