Zenism
On the history, origin and tenets of Zenism
Zenism is the worship of the four founders, the spirit of the mother of Earth; Yggdrasil (or in some cultures Gaia), and the spirit of the father of rock and stone; Ydranor (or in some cultures Gaius). And the worship of Chronos and his sister Ananke, deities of Time and Destiny.
Zenism is an organized religion that follows a strict belief system in the pursuit of balance in everything. They are absolute neutralist, striving to balance the teachings of the four founders. (As described above). The four pillars of their faith follows:
‘’No Strength, without Fragility.’’ — ‘’I believe that in order to know true strength, one must know true fragility and weakness. I know.’’
‘’No Change, without Force.’’ — ‘’I believe that in order to achieve true change, one must force or be forced. I am and I will.’’ ‘’No Permance, without Erosion.’’ — ‘’I believe that in order for something to exist in permanence, something or someone must erode. I do and I have.’’
‘’No Destiny, without Chaos.’’ — ‘’I believe that in order to meet destiny, chaos must reign and destroy. It does.’’
There are different factions within Zenism, that confront and oppose one another in various ways, but the core of their beliefs remains the same. Most of these factions are a variation on monk orders, the most famous — or infamous — being the Slave Monks of Dazra’Doll.
