Pakani Peace Day
The doves fly; the rebuilding begins
Ravana took one final look at the document she had helped create. A look to see if there was something wrong, if this would bring nothing but more war and suffering. Then, closing her eyes, she picked up her pen and signed it, ending two years of senseless war.The Pakani Peace Day, celebrated yearly, marks the end of an era of warfare. It is traditionally celebrated by setting free doves of peace and scattering flowers over graves in both the Rebel's Quarter graveyard and the hallowed grounds of the Hundred Martyrs Memorial. On this day, both Elder Mui of Pakani and Ravana, Bandit Commander signed a peace treaty compromise that ended the war following the Dakuina (Great Storm).– Heroes of Pakani
