Mersanida

Public sentientologic record
Property of the Royal Atheneum of Hövnís, Eörpe

A sphere of invasive lifeforms of extragalactic or extraplanar origin, phenetically organized into four orders.   Genetic similarities between species, even across different orders, has lead to a general belief that they share a common ancestry. All mersanida are carbon-based organisms, using either water or ammonia as their solvent. They feed and/or reproduce via an unusual and not fully understood biological process called plenumeiosis. Klepto- or pathogenesis is common, as is parasitism.   Their high metamorphality and unusual reproduction mechanisms is considered the main contributor of their high adaptability and rapid spread.
