Kuusamaj is the tallest and longest mountain range found on Biegjun, located at the south pole, and features six out the planet’s ten highest peaks.  

Geography

Kuusamaj is a long and broad mountain range that begins and ends in the southern subarctic regions of Biegjun and crosses the center of its south pole. Of all the mountainous regions, Kuusamaj appears the most tectonically stable and see less events such as volcanic eruptions and earthquakes than its north pole cousin, the Aapimosii.

Gaaijvla’s Embrace

The ancient impact site of the Yggdrasil DI-44 generation ship, situated at the foot of one the Kuusamaj mountain range’s subarctic regions.

Suszukoro Research Station

A facility built far up on a plateau overlooking Gaaijvla’s embrace and the surrounding region and currently hosts circa 750 permanent residents, all part of a branch of the Lusoyan Suszukoro family. They are currently led by luminary Suszukoro’Htrico.   The facility consists of complete living amenities, as well as a research center and laboratories. A small docking bay host up to two shuttles pre-programmed for shipping personnel, samples, and supplies between the station and the security locus orbiting the nearby planet of Juoyl.
